Here are some testimonies from our ladies at Lowell C.I./Annex

Catherine shares… I’m working on seeking the Lord through His Word so that I may grow as a Christian.  My heart is mending and blessings are flowing steadily in my life.  Anytime the devil tries to tempt me, I remember Ephesians 4:30 “…do not bring sorrow to God’s Holy Spirit by the way you live”.  That one line touches me so deeply.  I’ve brought more than enough sorrow to my God when all He does is love me.  I’m ready to make Him smile.

Shamika shares… I respond to everything with a positive attitude because of God’s Word and God’s Grace.  His Grace helps me to stay humble and true.  Peace, love, joy and humility are my constant companions.  Believe me, it’s a struggle, but God doesn’t want perfection, just our commitment.

Suzanne shares… I use God’s Word to move past my anger, and I was extremely angry for two and half years over my loss…”Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.”  Ephesians 4:32  The qualities I see in myself now are patience, peace, and the ability to forgive others when I feel they’ve done me wrong.

Kim shares... It’s been here in prison that I have totally surrendered to Jesus. He has taught me how to let go of the pain – to forgive myself and the others that had caused me harm (2 Cor. 5:17) I had to come to prison to find freedom within. Thank you Jesus!

Monica shares... When I was first arrested, I was so against God, Church, and the Bible was the last book I’d ever have in my collection… during my time in prison I learned that the more I read God’s Word the more it brought understanding. I am now a proud child of God and going home to live out God’s dream for my life.

Is God really transforming lives?
